Losing It

I lost my car yesterday at Food Lion. I came out of the store and headed in the direction that I knew it was parked. I didn’t see it and started in the other direction where I knew it couldn’t possibly be. I finally found it on the row behind the row I was first looking for it.

I’m not the only one around here who’s losing it. Last week Herman set all the clocks back so when we woke on Sunday, we wouldn’t miss a beat… or second. When he realized his mistake, he said that Europe had moved from daylight saving time back to standard time. I gently reminded him that we don’t live in Europe. This week he forgot all about setting them back.

We need a keeper.
